The records

The documents, videos, photographs and audio in this archive were released by the U.S. government. Works of the U.S. government are in the public domain in the United States, and you may use them freely. Some government files include material that others created, such as letters or photographs sent in by the public; including it in a government file does not change its rights.

This site's own material

The page text extracted from the scans, the topic tags, the links between records, the case files and the machine summaries were produced for this archive. You may quote, link to and reuse them for research, reporting and teaching, with credit to Declassified UAP and a link to the record.

Accuracy

The site is provided as is, without warranty. The page text is machine-read from scans and contains errors, especially in older typewritten documents. Machine summaries are written by an AI model and can be wrong. The original files published by war.gov are the authoritative versions; each record page links to its source.

This archive is not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for the U.S. government, the Department of War or any other agency.
