Reporting a problem with a record

Include the record code (for example FBI-UAP-D043) or the address of its page, the page number if it is a document, and what looks wrong: a date or place that does not match the document, a missing page, text that did not come through, a file that will not open, or a broken link.

Some problems come from war.gov's own listing. When the document itself shows the right value, the archive corrects its catalog entry.

Using the archive

• Search covers the titles, war.gov's descriptions, the machine summaries and the full text of every document.
• On a document's page, the search box above the text finds words inside that document. Add ?page= and a page number to a record's address to link straight to that page.
• Downloads and access for AI assistants are on Data & API.

Sighting reports

This archive holds only records that a government has released. It does not accept or publish reports of sightings.
