About this archive

Declassified UAP is a searchable copy of the records the U.S. Department of War publishes at war.gov/UFO under PURSUE, the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. Every record here is a U.S. government release.

What is here

478 records from 7 releases and 11 agencies: 298 documents, 134 videos, 30 photographs and 16 audio recordings. The documents hold about 3,100,000 words of text, and 28,731 images were extracted from inside them.

For each record the archive keeps the file as war.gov published it, its catalog details (agency, release, incident date and place) and a link to the original on war.gov or DVIDS.

What the archive adds

What it is not

How it stays current

war.gov adds records in numbered releases. Each new release is mirrored, its text extracted and indexed, and the result checked against war.gov's own list and files. Corrections war.gov makes to a record are noted on that record's page.

Who runs it
